8 August 2023: I am just finishing converting my website to Squarespace. It has been moribund for years for two reasons. I created the website using Apple’s iWeb, and the supporting software went dead when Apple dropped support fro 32-bit programs. Second, I have not produced a new book during that time, but a new one is coming in 2024 from Casemate: Betting Against America: Red Teaming the Axis’ Powers Views of the United States.

I have added the memoirs of Lt. Col. Charles Hodge, who was CO of the 117th Mechanized Cavalry Squadron. I OCR’d his original manuscript and post it with the permission of COL(Ret.) Dennis J. Dougherty

Squarespace has some disadvantages, the main one being a 20 MB limit on uploaded files. Even zipped, I can’t post the US Army’s Standard Ordinance Catalogue or Handbook on German Forces that I used to have available.
